Newstead Brewing Co is a new Micro Brewery creating its beers and ciders within the light Industrial and Multi-residential landscape of the Newstead neighbourhood.
Their new home is an industrial corrugated warehouse that has been transformed from a bus repair depot via art studio to a craft beer micro brewery & restaurant. The 50s warehouse maintains it’s steel skeleton and corrugated walls, contrasting these aged elements with the glistening new stainless steel beer tanks and brewing equipment. Elements such as the timber beam that supported the gantry floor have been repurposed as the bar top and new murals add a vibrancy to this timelessly quirky establishment. Ingrid worked in tandem with Paul Fairweather and McVeigh Consultants to convert an empty art studio into the setting for a lively, exciting and timeless new local Pub experience.
